About The Position

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Full-time 1st shift Facilities Maintenance Technician Trainee to help with preventative maintenance and other special projects within industrial facility in Manassas, VA. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, remodeling and refurbishing property, maintaining records, and using various tools including a forklift. The company emphasizes a great work culture and clean facilities.

Requirements

High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Works alongside maintenance technicians to perform preventative maintenance that meets regulations, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting on building equipment.
Responsible for remodeling and refurbishing interior and exterior property while keeping areas clean and organized.
Monitor and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
Uses a variety of hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks, including operating a forklift to assist in heavy lifting maintenance procedures and repairs.
Other duties as assigned.
