About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep the facility, equipment, and operations running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role involves equipment repair and maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems. The schedule starts at 5:00 AM, typically includes 8–9-hour shifts, and finishes in the early afternoon. Occasional weekend availability is needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
Forklift license or ability to obtain one.
Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and follow through on assigned tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Trade-related training.
Experience with plumbing, welding, or pipe fitting.

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and building systems.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from plant staff and management.
Complete repairs involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
Assist with welding, cutting, and pipe fitting as needed.
Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
Operate forklifts and other facility equipment safely.
Read and follow schematics, prints, and technical instructions to complete tasks independently.
