About The Position

As a Waterton Service (Maintenance) Technician II, you are an integral part of the mission to provide residents with a great place to live. You help maintain the physical condition of the community and its equipment according to company guidelines and standards. The role includes completing apartment make-readies, conducting preventive maintenance, responding to service requests, performing janitorial duties, and helping keep the community hazard-free.

Requirements

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to solve problems and multitask.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, or comparable experience.
• An EPA-LBP certification is required for any property older than 1978.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with apartment maintenance technology and systems, or similar systems in commercial retail or other residential settings, is strongly preferred.
• EPA-CFC Certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs professionally and in a timely manner.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare apartments for occupancy by completing the make-ready process, including move-out and move-in inspections and electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, exteriors, and common areas by ensuring they are free from debris.
• Use reasonable safety measures and precautions to maintain a safe work environment.
