About The Position

HGV is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas in good repair and help ensure the property remains attractive and well-maintained. The role works with the maintenance team and communicates with engineering leadership. It includes detailed record keeping in English and may involve assisting with special projects and performing other duties assigned by a leader.

The schedule is primarily nights, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with days off to be determined. Occasional day shifts may be needed, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 1–2 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet; push or pull up to 100 lbs.; lift or carry up to 50 lbs.; and grasp, stoop, and reach overhead, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Establish a clear line of communication with engineering leadership.
• Assist other maintenance staff with special projects.
• Maintain guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas in good repair.
• Keep detailed records in English for logs and inspection sheets.
• Perform painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown, and popcorn ceiling work.
• Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures, including drain cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the leader.
