About The Position
The Maintenance Technician II performs a lead role and a variety of general maintenance responsibilities, including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, painting, and drywall repair. The Technician drives a company van to various sites to perform maintenance tasks and helps ensure building structures are properly maintained. The role provides direction, establishes priorities, assigns tasks, coordinates work projects, and monitors the work of other employees as necessary. The Technician also assists with completing projects and implementing property improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related experience and/or training in the use of appropriate maintenance equipment.
- Experience handling hazardous materials or situations and following standard safety practices.
- Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be eligible to safely operate company vehicles, with no major moving violations in the past 3 years and no more than one point on the current DMV record.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location.
