About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II performs preventive and general maintenance and repairs on the facility and associated equipment. Work is carried out in accordance with applicable standards to provide a safe environment of care for employees, patients, and visitors of all ages. The role also provides security coverage when a security officer is absent and performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

General maintenance background experience is required.
One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Hospital maintenance experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on the facility and associated equipment.
Perform general maintenance and repairs on the facility and associated equipment.
Follow applicable standards to maintain a safe environment of care for employees, patients, and visitors.
Provide security coverage in the absence of a security officer.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
