About The Position

Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring a Maintenance Technician I at WorldMark Kihei Resort to help provide quality guest experiences by keeping resort units and buildings in working order. The role performs general facility maintenance under supervision, completes service requests and repairs, and assists with make-ready units. It also includes maintaining outdoor areas, inspecting building systems, reporting deficiencies, and following company safety programs. The position is hiring to start immediately; relocation assistance and housing are not provided.

Requirements

Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude with a team focus.
Ability to work independently or with others as needed.
Basic handyman skills.

Responsibilities

Perform general facility maintenance under supervision to preserve quality and efficient production.
Complete service requests and repairs as directed, including painting, appliance repair, minor electrical work, and carpentry.
Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.
Repair or replace general fixtures and handle basic repairs involving doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.
Clean and maintain outside landscape areas, including emptying and picking up trash and performing general landscape work.
Clean and inspect building systems and report deficiencies to a supervisor.
Adhere to the company’s safety programs.
