Maintenance Technician I / HVAC-Boiler I
About The Position
This full-time position is based in a food manufacturing environment and focuses on maintaining production equipment to support smooth operations and prevent downtime. The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance, responds to equipment failures during production, and manages tools and spare parts. Work must follow food safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company cleanliness and safety rules. The role offers opportunities for advancement. Starting pay is $33.50 per hour, with an additional $2.00 shift differential for work between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The shift runs from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 0 to 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to complete work orders and enter required paperwork into a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Two-year degree in a specialized maintenance trade.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines.
- Follow food safety rules, cleaning procedures, and requirements for food-grade materials in production areas.
- Respond to emergency equipment repairs during production to minimize downtime.
- Manage spare-parts and tools inventory.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety and cleanliness rules.
