About The Position

With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repairs. The technician works on a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, supporting drivers and servicing technically advanced vehicles. The position offers training in new technologies and equipment, a regular shift in a stable industry, recognition for exceptional performance, and career paths for professional growth.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience.
Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.

Nice To Haves

Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform basic preventive maintenance and some repairs on vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
Conduct vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments.
Change oil and replenish fluids.
Perform adjustments and light repairs, including tire changes.
Perform basic electrical work, such as changing lights.
Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
Complete applicable Company training programs.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
