About The Position

With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repairs. The technician works on a single fleet with advanced equipment, supporting drivers and maintaining vehicles used on their routes. The position offers a regular shift in a stable industry, training in new technologies and equipment, and opportunities for professional growth and recognition for performance. It also contributes to community and environmental impact.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.

Nice To Haves

Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Maintain basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments on equipment and vehicles.
Change oil and replenish fluids.
Perform adjustments and light repairs, including tire changes.
Perform basic electrical work, such as changing lights.
Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
Complete applicable company training programs.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
