About The Position

The Team Lead, Maintenance (Facilities) is an advanced skilled role providing day-to-day work leadership and technical support for facility maintenance operations. The position combines hands-on maintenance with coordination of daily activities, task prioritization, reinforcement of safety and quality standards, and first-level escalation support for facility maintenance issues. The role performs skilled maintenance across building systems and provides informal leadership to maintenance technicians or trades personnel. It coordinates assignments, troubleshoots issues, supports preventive maintenance and reliability, and helps maintain operational readiness. It does not include formal people-management responsibilities such as performance reviews, hiring, or disciplinary actions. The posting states that the position typically reports to a Facilities Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or Facilities Manager (M1). The role also supports work-order documentation, communication with Operations, EHS, and facility occupants, onboarding and training, process improvements, shutdowns, inspections, and facility improvement projects. The posting describes work that is often non-routine, performed independently under limited supervision, and involves applying discretion within broad operational boundaries.
