About The Position

The Team Leader, Manufacturing leads operators through their daily tasks and ensures work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures. The role leads a team of up to 25 employees, ensuring they are trained, follow company policies, work safely, and meet departmental standards and goals. This is a working lead position performed side by side with production operators. The position also promotes and maintains a safe work environment and enforces compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing operations and with equipment such as weighing, staging, and blending operations, blenders, sifters, and scales.
• Ability to document on paper and use electronic batch records.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Ability to apply basic math skills.
• Good written and verbal teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Up to 1 year of previous experience in a GMP manufacturing, nutraceutical, or food production environment.
• Experience completing batch records and log books.
• Experience working or participating in a team-based environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
