About The Position

Alliance Laundry Systems is hiring a Team Leader to support and guide a production team of 8–12 team members under the supervision of a Group Leader (Supervisor). The role focuses on developing team capabilities, effective leadership, and maintaining a high standard of work through continuous improvement. The position is on-site in Ripon, Wisconsin. The posting lists several shift options; this position is identified as 2nd shift, scheduled Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM, with overtime as needed on Friday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM.

Requirements

Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
Proven leadership capabilities.
Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including passing a pre-employment physical with a baseline test of lifting at least 50 pounds.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assimilate and train new team members in the area and serve as the point of contact for new additions.
Lead daily pre-shift meetings covering safety, quality, HR, and production goals.
Ensure team members follow safety procedures and obtain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for them when necessary.
Collaborate with team members to generate and support continuous-improvement ideas and maintain a continuous-improvement mindset.
Escalate production issues or systemic problems to the Group Leader.
Maintain communication from shift to shift with other Team Leads and Leaders.
Update and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other area or zone metrics.
Create, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work.
Complete Hour by Hour Boards, 5S Audits, Dupont Stop Observations, and work stacks.
Navigate conflict and reach resolution through coaching and support from Group and Area Leaders.
Use SAP to aid in the manufacturing process.
Perform other duties as required.
