About The Position

The Team Leader leads other team leaders and assists in managing operational issues to ensure effective and efficient product flow. This role leads Lean-related activities, coordinates staffing and overtime, supports employee safety and product quality, and troubleshoots routine issues. The Team Leader works with limited supervision and communicates frequently with team members, supervisors, other departments, and plant leaders. The position is onsite five days a week and is safety sensitive.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDI board meetings and other Lean-related activities.
• Assign work schedules and coordinate overtime.
• Ensure employee safety and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Monitor product and work quality.
• Troubleshoot simple machine, process, product, or employee issues.
• Lead and train team leaders and provide feedback and coaching.
• Communicate frequently with team members, supervisors, other departments, and plant leaders.
• Coach other team leaders.
