About The Position

Lynd Management Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of a multifamily property. The ideal candidate is an experienced technician and leader who takes pride in quality work, develops employees, and provides prompt, professional service to residents. This is a pipeline posting for future opportunities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three to five years of multifamily, facility, or mechanical maintenance experience.
  • EPA Type III or Universal certification required.
  • Certified Pool Operator certification required.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and pool maintenance.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices.
  • Strong leadership, organization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
  • Ability to participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergencies during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
  • Trade school or relevant military technical training is a plus.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, schedule, train, and develop the property's maintenance team.
  • Assign and prioritize service requests, make-readies, inspections, and preventive maintenance projects.
  • Ensure service requests and apartments are completed correctly and on time.
  • Inspect apartments, buildings, grounds, amenities, and mechanical systems regularly.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, water heaters, pool equipment, and other property systems.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, service records, inspection logs, and equipment documentation.
  • Manage the maintenance team's on-call schedule and respond to after-hours emergencies.
  • Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors and monitor completed work.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Keep maintenance shops, storage areas, dumpsters, and work areas clean, organized, and secure.
  • Ensure employees follow company policies, OSHA requirements, and safe work practices.
  • Communicate maintenance concerns, major repairs, and project updates to the Property Manager.
