About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor leads the maintenance team at Camelot Apartments in Yuma, Arizona, and is responsible for efficiently maintaining the property and helping residents feel at home. This is a temporary position. The supervisor models effective maintenance standards, develops team members, coordinates apartment service and turnover work, handles or resolves maintenance issues, and helps keep the property safe and in good condition. The role also includes maintaining emergency coverage and complying with applicable building, county, and safety codes.

Requirements

• EPA Type II or Universal certification is required.
• Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC.
• Valid driver's license is required.

• CPO certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and model standards and behaviors that support efficient property maintenance operations.
• Hire, develop, and provide on-the-job and classroom education opportunities to technicians and community care associates.
• Follow up promptly on resident concerns and ensure apartment service tickets are completed meticulously.
• Resolve maintenance issues involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Manage apartment make-ready and turnover processes accurately and promptly so units can be leased and occupied.
• Maintain the building’s appearance and community safety through general upkeep, cleanliness, and grounds maintenance.
• Sustain peak-efficiency operation of property components.
• Follow applicable building, county, and safety codes and standards, and maintain an accident-free operation.
• Reinforce monthly staffing schedules and ensure 24/7 emergency coverage.
