This role provides leadership and direction for the off-shift Maintenance team by establishing daily priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring safe, efficient execution of maintenance activities supporting manufacturing operations. The Maintenance Supervisor leads the safe execution of reactive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities across the entire production facility to maximize equipment availability and minimize production disruption. They act as the primary maintenance decision-maker during off-shift operations, making timely operational decisions to restore equipment safely and efficiently. This role coordinates maintenance priorities with Production, Quality, and Operations leadership to support production schedules and customer commitments. The supervisor champions the Rolls-Royce Zero Harm culture through compliance with OSHA, LOTO, NFPA 70E, machine safeguarding, and company safety requirements. They coordinate emergency breakdown response and assign maintenance resources to critical equipment failures based on operational priorities. Additionally, the supervisor provides technical guidance to maintenance technicians in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related equipment failures, ensures work orders, labor reporting, and equipment history are accurately maintained within SAP PM or the company CMMS, monitors the completion of preventive maintenance activities during the shift, and escalates risks that may impact equipment reliability or production. Ensures maintenance activities are completed in accordance with approved procedures, engineering standards, and company processes.
