About The Position

Club La Pension in New Orleans, Louisiana, is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and advise on daily work assignments and tasks performed by Maintenance Technicians. The position supervises, directs, and trains technicians and helps ensure the safe, efficient operation and upkeep of the property, including guestrooms, common areas, and facility equipment. The supervisor also assists the Chief Engineer with projects and may take on other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer.

Requirements

EPA certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Three years of building and/or property maintenance experience.

Nice To Haves

CPO certification strongly preferred.
OSHA certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise, direct, and train a team of Maintenance Technicians.
Assist the Chief Engineer with special projects.
Visually inspect, operate, and maintain guestrooms, common areas, and associated equipment systems throughout the property.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility, including guestrooms, common areas, boilers, chillers, air compressors, and related facility equipment.
Monitor, maintain, and test emergency and life safety systems.
Record and maintain logs and preventive maintenance records.
Monitor team member efficiency, quality, and guest response.
Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the Chief Engineer.
