About The Position

Harbor Group Management Company is a real estate investment and property management firm focused on customer service and providing residents with an excellent living experience. The Maintenance Supervisor performs, supervises, and coordinates service functions to ensure the efficient upkeep of buildings and property. The role oversees maintenance team members, work orders, in-house and vendor work, supplies, and preventive maintenance, while also assisting with service requests. The supervisor must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in general plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work.
• HVAC certification.
• Very strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, guidance, and supervision to the maintenance team.
• Ensure work orders are completed timely and thoroughly.
• Schedule and supervise in-house work and vendor or contractor work.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and delivery of supplies and equipment needed by the service team.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance.
• Research and evaluate current and potential products used in property maintenance and upkeep, and make recommendations as appropriate.
• Assist the team in fulfilling service requests.
