About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for its Grand Prairie, Texas area communities, Bexley Central Park and Bexley Mansfield. The supervisor manages and coordinates the service team’s work to ensure upkeep, inventory, and repairs of property grounds and buildings are completed efficiently, while also performing maintenance duties as part of the team. This is a hands-on role focused on professional maintenance practices, quality control, policy compliance, customer service, and supporting occupancy and rental performance. The supervisor schedules and oversees in-house and vendor work and participates in an emergency on-call rotation with teammates. Weinstein Properties owns and manages its properties and offers training and opportunities for advancement from within.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of trade-related experience.
• At least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
• EPA/CFC refrigerant certification, Type I and II or Universal.
• Computer skills to use business software for assigning and managing work orders, scheduling turns, ordering supplies, and communicating by email.
• Willingness to share on-call responsibilities with other team members.
• Valid driver's license, transportation, and tools.
• Candidates will undergo DMV and background/criminal checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the activities of the property service team.
• Ensure upkeep, inventory, and repairs of property grounds and buildings are completed efficiently.
• Work hands-on with the team to complete maintenance duties.
• Diagnose problems and make repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pools, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Share emergency on-call responsibilities with other team members.
• Use professional maintenance practices and quality control while following company policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service to visitors, prospects, and residents.
