About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees all aspects of the maintenance department, including facilities, grounds, and associated utilities. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports daily operations across the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred
  • Broad background in mechanical and construction work, including electrical systems, HVAC/refrigeration, carpentry, and life safety code requirements
  • Previous management or supervisory experience required
  • Ability to train staff on equipment operation and job-specific tasks
  • Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating manuals, and maintenance documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and correspondence
  • Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Programs
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and structural principles
  • Experience writing employee evaluations, maintenance procedures, and job descriptions
  • Computer literacy required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field preferred
