About The Position

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across a facility. The role supports equipment performance, utility system reliability, and efficient facility operations while leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment. The position is listed as second shift and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry or food manufacturing.
• Experience with processing equipment and industrial maintenance systems.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration and PLCs/electrical systems.
• Proficiency in plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to support maintenance systems.
• Ability to become Haz-Mat team qualified.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance team responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining plant equipment, facilities, and utility systems.
• Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules to ensure maintenance activities are completed effectively and on time.
• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and meet safety and operational standards.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to support consistent execution and equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members’ problem-solving and technical development.
• Support facility improvements and manage procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
