About The Position

Clayton is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to maintain model home center properties and repair common service problems associated with manufactured housing. The role involves responding promptly to service calls, completing repairs thoroughly and on time, and providing excellent customer service. Duties include general property maintenance, service requests, preventative care for HVAC and other systems, and repairs to exterior and roof damage. The position requires varied handyman skills and the ability to perform strenuous physical work in a range of weather conditions. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Numerous and varied handyman skills.
• Reliability, dependability, friendliness, a solid work ethic, and pride in work.
• Strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Hand-eye coordination and physical strength; ability to stoop, bend, lift, and climb.
• Ability to lift and move items such as furniture, wallboard, and water heaters weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Endurance to perform strenuous tasks.
• Ability to safely climb ladders.
• Ability to work in all environments, including extreme heat or cold, rain, and snow.
• Strong customer relations skills.
• Ability to excel in and contribute to a team environment; cooperative and collaborative approach.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and post-offer drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance to maintain property appearance and condition.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform preventative care on HVAC and other systems.
• Repair exterior and roof damage.
• Respond promptly to service calls and complete repairs thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a team environment.
• Assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
