Requirements

Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Meet the PA residency requirement.
Able to perform essential job functions.
Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
Medical examination and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Perform skilled tasks involving carpentry, masonry, painting, and related trades
Maintain and repair a wide variety of mechanical and electrical equipment
Assemble, repair, and fabricate adaptive equipment for individuals at the Center
Service heating, cooling, drainage, and water systems to keep operations safe
Carry out seasonal outdoor tasks such as snow removal, lawn care, and debris cleanup
Complete routine inspections, cleaning, and adjustments to reduce equipment failures
