Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
• Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's license.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair buildings, stockpiles, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and fire safety equipment
• Fix machinery, small engines, tools, and vehicles while recording maintenance details
• Assist field crews by delivering fuel, gathering parts, mowing lawns, removing snow, and performing manual labor tasks
• Operate loaders, forklifts, man lifts, and a variety of motorized and non motorized hand tools
• Inspect fire extinguishers, track safety supplies, and follow procedures that keep work areas secure
• Clean offices, garages, and grounds, paint surfaces, make building forms, and assist in storeroom operations
