About The Position

Marshall Steel, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Welder with experience working in heavy manufacturing. The Maintenance Mechanic should be experienced in diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment. The successful candidate will be a vital member of our team, maintaining steel fabrication equipment including saws, punches, presses, welding equipment, robot weld lines, and painting and coating equipment.

Requirements

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience with maintaining cranes and hoists
• Must know 480 VAC motor controls AC crane knowledge along with Ac Drive/ DC Motor knowledge
• PLC knowledge for troubleshooting issues on the mill.
• Must be able to weld
• Need to be able to read Electrical Schematics/Mechanical drawings

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Maintenance/ Electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as preventive maintenance (PM).
• Must know 480 VAC motor controls AC crane knowledge along with Ac Drive/ DC Motor knowledge
• PLC knowledge for troubleshooting issues on the mill.
• Must be able to weld
• Need to be able to read Electrical Schematics/Mechanical drawings
• Any other duties that may be assigned by management.
