The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring the proper functioning of warehouse equipment such as material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, and general building repairs. This role also involves monitoring and ensuring associate compliance with state and federal regulations, including OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, and DOT, related to maintenance operations. The manager will drive and implement the business plan for their area of responsibility to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety, and implement operational improvements. They will forecast and follow up on staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands. Additionally, the manager will oversee assigned financial aspects, monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures against budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. This role involves supervising and managing associates and leaders, providing direction, monitoring performance, giving feedback, identifying training needs, and facilitating learning and growth opportunities. The manager will also teach, support, and model company policies and procedures, and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation processes.
