About The Position

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for leading maintenance work and making decisions regarding the proper functioning of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment at a facility that manufactures blow-molded bottles and containers. The role supports facility safety, quality, and production needs by coordinating technicians, ensuring assignments are completed correctly and on time, and addressing equipment issues. The position is based at 1 Dangelo Drive, Marlborough, Massachusetts, and works the second shift from 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Overtime may be required due to business needs. Requirements

One to three years of experience in one or more of the relevant job groups.
Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

Understand and perform key facility roles related to safety, quality, and production needs.
Check machinery and complete repairs and scheduled maintenance assigned to technicians as needed.
Ensure assignments are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Work on specified projects and be accountable for their completion.
Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues that arise in the plant.
Schedule the team and oversee performance.
Participate in daily meetings with other shift leaders and management.
Train new team members.
Interact professionally with clients and vendors.
