About The Position

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for leading maintenance work and making decisions to ensure the proper functioning of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment at a facility that manufactures blow-molded bottles and containers. The position is based at 1 Dangelo Drive, Marlborough, Massachusetts, and works the second shift, scheduled from 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The role requires willingness to work overtime, which may be required due to business needs. The Maintenance Lead coordinates technicians and maintenance assignments, verifies work is completed correctly and on time, troubleshoots equipment problems, and oversees team performance. The role also includes project accountability, participation in daily meetings with shift leaders and management, training new team members, and professional interaction with clients and vendors.

Requirements

One to three years of experience in one or more of the relevant job groups.
Must be willing to work overtime; reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Responsibilities

Understand and perform key facility roles related to safety, quality, and production needs.
Check machinery and complete repairs and scheduled maintenance assigned to technicians as needed.
Ensure assignments are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Work on specified projects and be accountable for their completion.
Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues that arise in the plant.
Schedule the team and oversee performance.
Participate in daily meetings with other shift leaders and management.
Train new team members.
Interact professionally with clients and vendors.
