About The Position

The Maintenance and Housekeeping Associate helps drive sales and deliver a positive customer and associate experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting store environment. This hourly, part-time role performs daily cleaning, maintenance, and supply-replenishment tasks and calls for high hygiene standards and attention to detail. The associate maintains store cleanliness, cleans and sanitizes restrooms and the associate breakroom, replenishes supplies, addresses safety hazards, and replaces lights. The role also supports customers and store operations, follows asset-protection and safety procedures, and contributes to a positive store culture. Responsibilities

Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning mirrors, and collecting trash, hangers, and sensor tags.
Thoroughly clean restrooms and the associate breakroom, sanitize surfaces and breakroom appliances, and restock essential items.
Replenish supplies at registers, including bags, boxes, and tissue paper, and remove unnecessary items.
Organize and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies to promote efficiency and easy access for the store team.
Identify and promptly resolve safety hazards, including spills, icy sidewalks, and broken glass.
Replace interior and exterior lights to maintain a well-lit store environment.
Use training tools and resources, incorporate feedback, and build knowledge of operational processes and procedures.
Stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and store events to support execution.
Build connections with teammates, share knowledge, and celebrate individual and team achievements.
Warmly acknowledge and assist customers, support the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and complete other assigned tasks.
Follow asset-protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to support shortage control and minimize risk.
