About The Position

The Maintenance and Housekeeping Associate drives sales and delivers a positive customer and associate experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting store environment. This hourly position performs daily cleaning activities, maintenance tasks, and supply replenishment, requiring high hygiene standards and attention to detail. Responsibilities

Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
Maintain cleanliness throughout all store areas by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning mirrors, and collecting trash, hangers, and sensor tags.
Thoroughly clean restrooms and the associate breakroom, sanitize surfaces and breakroom appliances, and restock essential items.
Replenish register supplies, including bags, boxes, and tissue paper, and remove unnecessary items.
Organize and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies for efficient access by the store team.
Identify and promptly resolve safety hazards, such as spills, icy sidewalks, and broken glass.
Replace interior and exterior lights to maintain a well-lit store environment.
Use training tools and resources, embrace feedback, and build knowledge of operational processes and procedures.
Stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and store events to support execution.
Contribute to a positive store culture by connecting with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating individual and team achievements.
Warmly acknowledge and assist customers, support the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and complete other assigned tasks.
Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to support shortage control and minimize risk.
