About The Position

The Maintenance and Housekeeping Associate is an hourly, part-time role that helps drive sales and deliver a positive customer and associate experience by keeping the store clean, safe, and inviting. The role performs daily cleaning, maintenance, and supply-replenishment tasks and requires high hygiene standards and attention to detail. The associate supports store operations and customer service by maintaining store areas, addressing safety hazards, replenishing supplies, following asset-protection and safety procedures, and assisting customers and teammates. Responsibilities

Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning mirrors, and collecting trash, hangers, and sensor tags.
Thoroughly clean restrooms and the associate breakroom, sanitize surfaces and breakroom appliances, and restock essential items.
Replenish supplies at registers, including bags, boxes, and tissue paper, and remove unnecessary items.
Organize and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies to promote efficiency and easy access for the store team.
Identify and promptly resolve safety hazards, such as spills, icy sidewalks, and broken glass.
Replace interior and exterior lights to maintain a well-lit store environment.
Use training tools and other resources, accept feedback, and build knowledge of operational processes and procedures.
Stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and store events to support execution.
Contribute to a positive store culture by building connections with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating individual and team achievements.
Warmly acknowledge and assist customers, support the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and complete other assigned tasks.
Follow asset-protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to support shortage control and minimize risk.
