The position also assists with the installation of new equipment and general maintenance throughout the facility. Manual tasks include greasing, changing oil, and cleaning plant equipment. The role requires monitoring equipment and computer boards, troubleshooting mechanical problems using schematics and blueprints, and working other shifts when necessary. Safety is paramount, requiring understanding and adherence to rules like Lockout/Tagout and compliance with OSHA standards. Weekend work is mandatory. Collaboration with other maintenance personnel is essential for information exchange. The role involves working with fragile devices requiring precise attention and performing other duties as requested by the supervisor.
