This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work/experience and/or education documented in the work/education history section of the application (can be a combination of employer(s)/education, if equals at least 6 months)
• Basic computer knowledge/skills
• Knowledge and ability to work with 480-volt 3 phase electricity
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical automated process control system, PLC operations, inverters, and basic electricity
• Mechanical skills
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Dependable and responsible
• Safety Oriented
• Willing to work 5-6 days a week with overtime
• Willing to stoop, bend, climb ladders and work overhead
• Flexible to work in cold and or hot temperatures
• Cooperative and follow instruction carefully
• Willing to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
• Perform PM tasks on equipment daily and weekly
• Perform troubleshooting activities daily
• Be proactive in reducing downtime on all mechanical equipment
• Weld using appropriate tools accordingly
• Learning and following Core Safety mandates
