About The Position
PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. Responsibilities
- Cleaning the lenses meticulously by hand and inspecting them throughout the process for surface defects.
- Multiple washing and rinsing baths, including ultrasonic cleaning to remove any traces of surface contaminants.
- Knowledge of various AR equipment operation as well as the cleaning requirements.
- Performing machine cleaning and routine maintenance on all equipment.
- Keep the work area and equipment clean and organized at all times.
