About The Position

CLEVELAND ELECTRIC LABS, a 100-year-old industrial sensor & temperature control manufacturing company, specializes in high-temperature sensing technology across industries that need accurate measurement of extreme temperatures. The company is looking to add a second shift to its team with a schedule of Monday-Friday from 4:00pm to Midnight. They are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and focused individual to support critical functions of their production. This individual must be able to take directions well, work independently, and be willing to jump-in where needed and help others.

Requirements

Detailed Oriented.
Ability to sit or stand for entire 8-hour shift.
Ability to read tape measure, calculate basic math functions including fractions.
Ability to often lift 60 pounds or more.
Proficient using power tools and small machinery.
Innovative thinker with problem solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Aptitude to learn new skills.
Must pass background check.
High School diploma/equivalent.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of prior manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Reading drawings and bill of materials for job requirements and documentation of material traceability.
Lifting & positioning raw materials.
Using hand tools to assemble hardware.
Production welding - including TIG and plasma welding.
Inspecting & labeling of final product.
Operating manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
Maintaining clean and safe work areas.
Participating in and supporting Cleveland Electric Laboratories continuous improvement activities.
