About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves responding to mechanical or electrical breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and completing necessary paperwork. The work environment can vary in temperature and humidity, and may be dusty. Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds, with lifting up to 70lbs required.

Requirements

1 year of work experience in industrial maintenance.
Complete work history or resume attached to application.
Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Able to perform diagnoses and repairs without supervision.
Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision.

Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems.
Respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergencies.
Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
Complete appropriate paperwork and reports.
Comply with lockout/tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs.
Perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Perform diagnoses and repairs without supervision.
Start all equipment before production startup and shut down without supervision.
Assist with other mechanics as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
