This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves monitoring equipment during production, performing necessary repairs or adjustments, and documenting corrections. Preventive maintenance is performed on weekends, and equipment rebuilding and installation assistance are also part of the duties. Maintenance is required throughout the entire facility. The job requires manual greasing, oil changes, and cleaning of various plant equipment, as well as monitoring equipment and computer boards. Troubleshooting mechanical problems using detailed schematics and blueprints is essential. The role may require working other shifts when necessary and understanding and following safety rules like Lockout/Tagout and complying with OSHA standards. Weekend work is required. Close collaboration with other maintenance personnel is necessary for information exchange. The position also involves working with fragile devices requiring precise attention and performing other duties as requested by the supervisor.
