This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves monitoring equipment during production, making necessary repairs or adjustments, and documenting any corrections required. The position also includes performing preventive maintenance, rebuilding equipment, and assisting with the installation of new equipment and general maintenance throughout the facility. Manual tasks such as greasing, oil changes, and cleaning plant equipment are also part of the responsibilities. The role requires monitoring equipment and computer boards, troubleshooting mechanical problems using schematics and blueprints, and the ability to work other shifts when necessary. Adherence to safety rules like Lockout/Tagout and compliance with OSHA standards are mandatory. This role requires weekend work and close collaboration with other maintenance personnel. The ability to work with fragile devices requiring precise attention and perform all other duties as requested by the supervisor is essential.
