About The Position

The Maintenance Generalist keeps machinery running to support continuous production. The role involves setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production-line machinery, completing work orders and daily documentation in Tyson SAP, and communicating equipment-repair status to management and team members. The position is based in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and is listed for the first shift. Applicants must be available to work overtime and weekends if required and complete all required job training. Pay is determined by skill level.

Requirements

At least 1 year of industrial-related maintenance experience, as listed in the application, and/or technical certifications.
Working knowledge of electricity, power transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting, and shop tools.
Ability to read and write where required.
Ability to perform math calculations needed for work, including machinery and fluid-capacity computations.
Willingness and ability to lift 70 pounds with assistance daily and work on one's feet for 12 hours.
Ability to communicate clearly with management and team members about equipment repairs.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends if required.
Willingness to complete required training and work with others in accordance with Tyson's safety culture.
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
