About The Position

Maintain and provide a high level of technology in the manufacturing plant. Optimize machine processes to improve cycle time, reduce scrap, and reduce or eliminate quality defects. Work with Production Engineering to execute process improvements for all carlines and provide technical support for advanced troubleshooting of complex manufacturing issues. Travel is required.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist production and maintenance teams in isolating complex manufacturing issues related to processes, materials, or machine functionality.
• Maintain department KPI measurements for machine downtime.
• Provide continuous improvements and/or corrective actions for negative downtime trends.
• Ensure non-defined stores items and parts required for emergency repairs are procured in a timely manner.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis activities to eliminate catastrophic breakdowns and reduce recurring failures.
• Coordinate with purchasing to support technical purchases and warranty opportunities.
• Assist the project team with installation and signoff of new processes and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by PDD6 management to ensure optimal plant performance.
