About The Position

The Maintenance Engineer I performs routine general maintenance and repair functions within approved guidelines and as directed, and carries out various groundskeeping duties. The role supports positive guest relations and guest satisfaction in accordance with Valley View Casino & Hotel’s Standards of Excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of related experience, including six months of groundskeeping experience.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret English-language safety rules, instructions, guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals.
• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Must successfully pass applicable auditions or skill testing and a drug screening test.
• Must be flexible to work any and all shifts.

• Maintain positive guest relations, resolve guest complaints, and help ensure guest satisfaction.
• Greet guests courteously and caringly using personalized service.
