About The Position

This position assists with repairs in guestrooms, delivers guest requests, cleans public areas as needed, and performs assigned preventative maintenance in guestrooms. The schedule is five days a week, from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
Acceptable property-specific Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR).

Nice To Haves

Experience in a hotel or related field.
Trade license, such as in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, or carpentry.

Responsibilities

Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
Change light bulbs and perform guestroom preventative maintenance, including vinyl repair, paint touch-ups, minor furniture repairs, tub caulking, and tile repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen and laundry equipment, HVAC systems, guestrooms, meeting rooms, the swimming pool, and hot tub.
Perform plumbing and laundry equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance on exhaust fans and supply systems.
Monitor energy conservation.
Repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment upon request.
Respond immediately to alarms to determine their location and cause, assess the emergency status, and report findings to the Front Desk.
Deliver guest requests and clean public areas as needed.
Perform other tasks or jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
