About The Position
The Maintenance Director oversees preventive maintenance and urgent repair needs and provides counsel to management regarding community issues. The role supervises maintenance and groundskeeping staff and requires HVAC experience, general maintenance knowledge, and familiarity with community equipment and systems. The director must be available for on-call rotations, carry a cell phone, and respond to maintenance calls. The position is at Wingate at Silver Lake - SNF.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- HVAC experience.
- Availability for on-call rotations.
- Knowledge of general maintenance and the functions of all equipment.
- Some knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Knowledge of the Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and the Fire & Disaster Plan, and ability to follow related policies and procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Prior skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience.
- Knowledge of Life Safety Regulations.
Responsibilities
