About The Position
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Director, the Maintenance - Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness of the facility. The position involves working with cleaning chemicals and equipment, operating vacuums and other floor-cleaning machines, and climbing ladders.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- No experience required.
- Attend mandatory trainings, including New Employee Orientation, Child Abuse Prevention, and YMCA Safety & Risk Management, within 60–90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
- Work with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Operate backpack vacuums, upright vacuums, carpet extractors, and rotary floor machines.
- Climb ladders.
