Part Time Maintenance Assistant (AM)

About The Position

Silverado Hermann Park is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to help keep its memory care community safe, functional, clean, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff. The role combines general maintenance work, attention to detail, and service. The Maintenance Assistant works under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations and supports repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance throughout the property. The schedule is part-time, Monday through Friday, on the AM shift. The anticipated pay range is $17–$20 USD per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
At least 1 year of maintenance experience in hospital, institutional, or multi-unit residential settings.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
Comfortable working around animals and pets.
