About The Position

Silverado Aspen Park is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to help keep its memory care community safe, functional, clean, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff. The role combines general maintenance work, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance, with an emphasis on safety and service. The Maintenance Assistant works under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations.

This is a full-time AM-shift position scheduled Friday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The anticipated pay range is $20–$24 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in hospital, institutional, or multi-unit residential settings.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
