About The Position

Silverado Hermann Park is hiring a part-time, morning-shift Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, functional, clean, and welcoming community for residents, families, and staff. The role involves general maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance across the property, under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations. It is an active position requiring walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The schedule is Monday through Friday, and the anticipated pay range is $17–$20 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a hospital, institutional, or multi-unit residential setting.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
