About The Position

Heather Heights is hiring a part-time Maintenance Aide to help maintain the facility and keep it looking nice. The role supports the maintenance team by handling building and grounds upkeep, routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and moving materials and equipment. The stated starting rate is $18–$21 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour for weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Ability and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to meet the minimum physical requirements to perform job duties.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.

Responsibilities

Maintain facility grounds and building exteriors on a daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance in resident rooms to ensure everything is in proper working order.
Assist with moving materials, supplies, equipment, and other items.
Perform preventive maintenance on laundry equipment, heating and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers, fire and smoke alarms, lawn sprinklers, lawn equipment, and plumbing, as required by manufacturers and warranty specifications.
Ensure maintenance duties comply with manufacturer specifications and local Health Department regulations.
