About The Position

The Maint TM V performs preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, machinery, tooling, molds, and facilities. The role includes mold preparation, fabrication of production tooling and fixtures, maintenance troubleshooting and failure analysis, and implementing countermeasures to prevent recurring issues. The employee works with subcontractors and manufacturing maintenance, helps manage spare parts, and follows EMS/QMS procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position is full-time and on the 1st shift. Other duties, overtime, and different shifts may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical/electronic machinery and controls.
• Skilled in computer usage, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and motor controls.
• Experience with maintenance management software.
• Basic knowledge of mold cleaning, mold changeout, and setup of parameters.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, and twist.
• Basic experience in manufacturing maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance from team members or mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of using dry ice blasting machines and sand blasting cabinets.
• Must be able to use small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, machinery, and tooling, including mold preparation and fabrication of pre-production and production tooling and fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on molds, equipment, and facilities as needed.
• Work with subcontractors and manufacturing maintenance as needed.
• Assist with analyzing maintenance failures in molding processes, identifying trends, and implementing countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
• Assist in ordering and reordering spare parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties and work overtime or different shifts as assigned by the supervisor.
• Ensure EMS/QMS procedures are followed while performing job duties.
